Expected Characteristics:

  • Working & Curing Times: Fully customizable for fast and long-lasting repairs, with optimal application temperatures up to 90°F.
  • Compressive Strength: Achieves up to 9,000 psi at 28 days, based on the specific mix.
  • Mixing & Application: Offers slump ranges from 1 to 10 inches and includes options for vertical overhead and low/high slump sand formulas.
  • Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be clean and moist for best bonding; vibration enhances bond with CFC® or Portland surfaces.
  • Finishing: No bleed water; Fusion Finish can be applied for a glass-like finish.
  • Shelf Life & Storage: Standard shelf life of 6-12 months in dry storage conditions.
  • Physical Properties: Wet density ranges—145 pcf (3/8” aggregate), 136 pcf (sand), and 115 pcf (vertical overhead); volume yield is 1 cubic yard or 1 cubic meter.
  • Precautions: Follow critical batching procedures and protect employees from inhaling dry materials; avoid high-speed mixing to reduce air entrapment.

  • A520 Low Slump Topical Sand Formula with 5,000 to 9,000 PSI compressive strength, size #8 sieve maximum aggregate and 1”-4” slump. Ideal for vertical and horizontal repairs, topping, masonry mortar and liners.
  • A530 High Slump Self-Leveling Sand Formula with 5,000 to 8,000 PSI compressive strength and 6”-10” slump. Use for horizontal repairs, topping, and liners.
  • A540 Medium Slump 3/8-inch Aggregate with 5,000 to 10,000 PSI compressive strength and 4”-6” slump. Suitable for secondary containment and structural concrete.
  • A550 High Slump 3/8-inch Aggregate with 5,000 to 10,000 PSI compressive strength and 7”-10” slump. Perfect for secondary containment and structural concrete.
